Despite the difficulties we had with our room, we did enjoy this unique hotel. We booked 2 nights in January 2009 - we were given room a lovely decent sized room with a Jacuzzi – in fact it ticked all the boxes. Unfortunately we found that the light bulb in the toilet had broken and then at 4 o’clock in the morning the Jacuzzi started off on its own! This went on for some time (very noisy as there was no water and no way to turn it off) which meant we did not sleep for the rest for the night. Their electicians found a serious electrical fault and had to strip off the plaster from the wall - whilst our clothes were in the room. They moved us to another lower quality room for the second night but did not consider that any compensation was due to us, except a free breakfast the next time we visit. Needless to say, this lack of customer care means we wont be going back to this hotel (which is a shame).
