The perfect way to end a French cammping holiday

We spent 3 nights at this hotel at the end of August 2009 after camping in the Vendee.

We were pulling a trailer tent and needed a secure parking place for it while we stayed in the Intermuros. The Hotel staff understood our concerns and were very helpful and both the tractor and trailer were accomodated in and off street garage next to the hotel. Access and egress by car was always an adventure due to the narrow streets and one or two one way signs placed in odd situations on the narrow streets. The rooms were small but spotless and the plumbing a joy after two weeks of camping.

The breakfast room was quiet and well stocked plenty of warm croissants fresh OJ and tea and coffee via a dispenser..

Nowhere is very far from anything in the walled city but even though the hotel is only two minutes from the Cathederal there was no noise from the street or other rooms. We stayed in room 308 and both myself and my wife experienced two separate apparitions, one of a young girl and one of an old woman and a young boy, when asked the hotel staff said they had not heard of any such sightings before. Neither visits were threatening and were quite exciting.
this is super base to explore the marauder coast and the St Malo area.
