Saint Tropez in Review
Once the seaside hub of the international jet set - with its peak in the 1960’s when the iconic Brigitte Bardot decided to move here- Saint Tropez is no longer the exclusive territory of movie star or wealthy business tycoons. Still famous for its luxurious yachts lined up along the quay, facing the massive amount of bars and restaurants, Saint-Tropez has become a sunny holiday destination for everyone. This charming little town, small in size but large in standing, is the perfect spot to relax, work on your tan, watch tourists stroll along the strip and sip pastis under the plane trees. Often referred to as a modern version of a medieval town, but more often as the jewel of the French Riviera, Saint Tropez features lots of good reasons to visit: a rich historic past, beautiful architecture a beautiful bay and renowned happenings such as the International Polo Cup, Les Voiles de Saint Tropez and the Giraglia Rolex Cup.
Dazzling nightlife, stylish parties and prestigious nightclubs combined with numerous events, elegant beaches along the coast in the Baie de Pampelonne and east of Ramatuelle and a mild Mediterranean climate please visitors all year round.
