Getting there / transfers

By car From London or the Midlands - M5 to Exeter, M5/A38 Devon Expressway towards Plymouth. 15 miles out of Plymouth, Woodpecker Inn on your left (sign reading “next left and left again”). Within quarter of a mile, exit at Wrangton Cross, sign-posted to Modbury (A379).Follow signs for Modbury, drive through Modbury towards Kingsbridge, about 1 mile from Modbury turn right onto the B3392 signed for St Ann's Chapel & Bigbury on Sea, after about 2 miles you will come to the Old Chapel Inn on your right. From Plymouth City Centre. Follow signs to Kingsbridge/Modbury. Through Modbury, turn right onto B3392 signed to St Ann's Chapel and Bigbury-on-Sea. After 2 miles you will see The Old Chapel Inn on your right. By Train GWR trains to Totnes or Plymouth, call us to arrange for us to collect you from the station or to book a taxi for you By Plane Air South West & Air Wales operate scheduled flights to Plymouth City Airport
