Blackpool is the UK's quintessential seaside resort, a six mile strip of robust pleasure outlets. Pleasure Beach is a 42-acre site offering 125 attractions that draw thrill seekers of all ages. Alderman W.G. Bean founded Blackpool Pleasure Beach in 1896 in the style of an American amusement park. His mission was to make adults feel like children again. The facility has undergone a lot of development over the decades and it stills continues to this day.
