The Hofbrauhaus Munchen is the perfect place to experience Bavarian hospitality with traditional live music in the public beer hall every day for entertainment and a lively atmosphere. One of the most popular and well known pubs in Germany there are concerts held regularly and the long wooden tables are filled with beer swilling tourists and locals. Order a beer, they only come in 1 litre sized glasses and sit back and enjoy the ompah band playing traditional Bavarian brass band music as well as covers of modern pop hits. The brewery was commissioned by Wilhelm V., Duke of Bavaria (1579 – 1597) and can sit as many as 1,300 guests, look out for the names and dates etched into the tables, some date as far back as 1897. The Hofbrauhaus is open from 09.00 – 23.30 every day.
