This open air museum is located at St Fagans, around 4 miles from Cardiff. Covering 100 acres, the museum comprises over 40 reconstructed buildings from all over the country tracing Welsh history and culture. The exhibits include an ancient Celtic village, an entire 13th century church, a manor house, a pigsty, shops, mills and a bakery. Furnished with authentic artefacts, wandering through this collection of buildings gives the visitor a vivid insight into Welsh history.
