Los Angeles State Historic Park Guide – Spend Less, Do More

Welcome to the Los Angeles State Historic Park, Los Angeles

Pack a picnic lunch and enjoy a relaxing afternoon at the park, soaking up the view of downtown as you wander the pathways and thirty-two acres of open space. A perfect place to throw and catch a Frisbee, fly a kite or ride a bike. You might not know it, but within walking distance of the park you will find several historically significant buildings: the Flat Iron Building, and the Capitol Milling Company building. Check them out if the cultural heritage of the city is something you might be interested in. The historic and ethnically diverse communities of Chinatown, Elysian Park, Lincoln Heights, Solano Canyon and Chavez Ravine may also be worth going for a wander in.
